Clondalkin Consumer impresses with Nivea gift packs
Luxury cartons manufacturer Clondalkin Northampton has produced a range of gift pack cartons for NIVEA after impressing the team at Beiersdorf UK Ltd, the owner of the NIVEA brand, with their design ideas.
Three cartons have been created and produced specifically to give the NIVEA products maximum shelf appeal for the upcoming winter holiday season.
Clondalkin Northampton Sales Manager Ray Grundy said: “This is the first year we have produced NIVEA packaging for Beiersdorf and we are delighted to be building a very good working relationship.
“We are an ideal partner for Beiersdorf because we specialise in innovative, high quality packaging for the toiletry, cosmetics and personal-care markets, and this vast experience from design through production phases is well displayed in these gift packs. We have strong constructional design team resources, as well as a proactive pre-press department and in-house production capabilities, which Beiersdorf can rely on.”
The gift packs comprise of Gorgeous, Happy and Indulge and each carton features up to seven colour printing, wet matt and gloss varnishes, in-line embossing and is produced on Incada Silk board. The Gorgeous pack also features silver foil blocking, a Melinex ‘book’ window and has a magnetic closure.
Beiersdorf Packaging Technologist Mick Clipston said: “We were impressed by the concepts that Clondalkin presented to us for the gift packs and are very pleased with how the final cartons have turned out. They should look terrific on shop shelves and should really please recipients come Christmas morning.”
The Gorgeous gift pack contains a selection of miniature treats, including shower cream, deodorant, three varieties of body moisturiser and two lip glosses. Happy and Indulge contain a bottle of 250ml shower cream and 250ml body moisturiser, as well as an exfoliating shower puff.
