Chain of Custody (CoC) is the process by which certified forest products are verified to have come from properly managed and sustainable sources. CoC is the path taken by raw materials from the forest to the final consumer including all of the successive stages in between.

This demonstrates an exacting level of proficiency in product traceability, product storage and handling, invoicing, and record keeping through on-site audits by accredited third-party verifiers.
