LPF has protected and projected brands since 1907. The company moved to a brand new factory in 2005 and is well invested in pre-press and design, gravure- and flexographic printing, laminating, sealing and slitting equipment and is specialised in handling short run, long run and burst production requirements at harvest times.
Perhaps the companies’ most successful product is a high barrier lidding film, to be sealed on plastic cups or trays. LPF's reel-fed high barrier lidding film adds value to products like fruit, vegetables, ready meals and baby food with excellent product protection, easy peel and extraordinary shelf appearance. While products packed in a cup or tray have a fresh flavour and appeal, shelf life of up to two years at ambient temperature is no problem when LPF’s high barrier lidding is used. The films can be supplied with crystal clear transparency or gravure printed, but LPF’s experienced and mobile technical team always makes sure that the films run excellent on customers’ filling machines.
Other products in the LPF range are (full colour) multi-layer laminates with aluminium for pharmaceutical- and horticultural products, industrial appliances or dehydrated foods such as sauces, mixes, spices and ready meals. These films provide optimal product storage, presentation and convenience.
Microwaveable packaging for frozen snacks, introduced by LPF, has proved to be a revolution in the food industry by offering the ‘’instant’’ snack possibility. A unique patterned metallized film, laminated to paper can be used safely in the microwave to heat and crisp frozen foods without the danger of burning the product or the paper.
LPF's proprietary easy opening laser applications make product handling a lot easier for stand up pouches, stick packs and sachets used in a wide range of applications including fruit juices, personal care, confectionery and pharmaceuticals.
