In lids, our extensive product range comprises aluminium foil, which can be supplied with various heat seal lacquers, white or transparent polyesters, and an extensive range of laminates and co-extrusions for more demanding applications.
Our pre-cut lids are used for a variety of packaging applications on high speed filling and packing lines including containers for cream, yogurt and ice cream, beverages, snacks, butter and margarine and pharmaceutical products.
We are a leader in the design and manufacture of full body, promotional and tamper-evident shrink sleeves labelling with a wide range of substrates. Shrink sleeves are high quality, 360 degree and top-to-toe decorative and information formats that can be applied to any shape containers. The sleeves add extra package functionality such as tamper evidence and on-pack promotions and product use information.
In 2011, Chadwicks Shrink Sleeves invested over £2m in new technology and machinery to secure its pan-European position. In a market that is set to grow rapidly from 2011 to 2015, Chadwicks has set out to become one of Europe’s largest niche shrink sleeve providers. The bulk of the investment has gone into new equipment, including a new DCM seaming machine, a DCM cut singles machine and a state-of-the-art, high-speed MPS UV Flexo press with Gravure station, offering all the latest technology at Chadwicks’ UK site in Bury, Greater Manchester.
