Great Harwood is well invested with modern production equipment configured to handle both large and small orders efficiently. Print formats are both medium 3B and large size 6 presses which can handle board, plastics and micro-flute materials.
The most recent investment in our printing department is a 6 colour plus coater press with full UV inter-deck and end of press drying equipment. We have also recently invested in a new state of the art Pre-Press and repro department which complements our printing processes and enables us to take full control over our colour management systems.
Our finishing department consists of the very latest gluing technology, coupled with automatic carton packing. We are well known for non conventional cartons and operate a wide range of specialist finishing machinery to manufacture unique features and finishes.
This includes edging machines , window patching and the latest Bobst Alpina gluing machines which can handle a wide variety of complex styles. Design and innovation are key value-added service goals for us.
Our in-house design centre provides samples and line trials on automated packing lines. Whatever the carton format, we provide innovative and practical solutions and, additionally, we can produce extensive samples of mock-up printed samples by using our extensive repro and cad cam equipment.
