Sustainable packaging onlineClondalkin Trading's (Van der Windt’s) website now includes a ‘Sustainable Packaging' section in which all the different ways in which Van der Windt is substantiating its CSR policy are summarised.
These vary from CO2 reduction (target -15% in 2015) and its own climate neutral organisation to offering climate neutral packaging solutions to its customers. Van der Windt, in co-operation with Climate Neutral Group (CNG), has assessed and listed the CO2 footprint of all its products.
Van der Windt offers its customers the option of purchasing certificated credits from CNG for a very modest price supplement and the money raised from the sale of certificates is used to finance sustainable energy projects in developing countries.
