Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Harlingen shared its ‘FleXtreme vision’ on the next generation of flexo printed films during FleXoday 2016 in Bologna.
CFPH was invited by the ATIF (Italian Association for Flexographic Industry) to talk about the latest technologies and developments in the flexographic industry.
ATIF invited Clondalkin following this year’s FTA European Diamond Award win and because of its EFTA-Benelux membership. Within the FTA (European level) the EFTA-Benelux and ATIF are working closely together.
Over 400 industry professionals were in attendance to hear about the FleXtreme proposition. According to Jack van der Heiden, Sales & Markering Director, the FleXtreme concept consists of breaking down each single step in the (flexographic) process enabling to improve all steps with increased consistency. Further improving the quality of its own PE production, focusing on the ‘total’ mounting process, cleaning processes and so on, are just some examples of process steps which ask for continuous attention and development.
Jack van der Heiden also invited stakeholders to continue sharing success stories and best practices related to the flexo print process to boost the continuous developments in this industry where digital print and roto gravure are its ‘generic competitors’.
